Um vídeo divulgado pelo jornal O Globo mostra Sasha Meneghel e seu marido, João Figueiredo, a bordo de uma lancha com . As imagens foram feitas antes de . Sasha e João tiveram um prejuízo de R$ 1,2 milhão após caírem em um golpe do “sheik”.

Na gravação publicada pelo jornal, é possível ver Sasha, João, Francisley e outras pessoas a bordo de uma luxuosa lancha Azimut 56, que tem 17 metros de comprimento e três cabines com cama, além de áreas de estar e jantar, espaço gourmet, cozinha e áreas externas para relaxamento. Na cena, também aparecem baldes com garrafas de vinho.

O grupo canta, animado, a “Muleque de Vila”, de Projota. Francisley está vestindo camiseta e bermuda e tem um par de óculos pendurado na roupa. Sasha aparece ao fundo, vestindo branco, assim como o marido. Meses antes, João gravou, no estúdio da gravadora Sounder Records, vinculada na época ao grupo InterAG de Francisley, conhecido também como Francis da Silva.

De acordo com o jornal, João e Francisley se conheceram na igreja evangélica Bola de Neve. Inicialmente, o cantor investiu R$ 50 mil em criptomoedas e, após receber o pagamento pontual dos juros prometidos, convenceu Sasha a aplicar R$ 800 mil. Mais tarde, ela acrescentou mais R$ 400 mil ao investimento.

Como não tiveram o retorno prometido, Sasha e o marido entraram com um processo por dano moral e material alegando fraude. O processo corre na 14ª Vara Cível do Tribunal de Justiça do Paraná.

Ao O Globo, o “sheik” disse que as empresas de seu grupo estão passando por uma reestruturação e, por isso, ele deixou de pagar os rendimentos mensais prometidos aos investidores. Em nota, ele afirmou que em outubro retomará os pagamentos.
